Jane Ebihara is a retired middle school teacher living in rural Allamuchy, New Jersey. She holds a B.A. Ed from Western Illinois University and an M.S.Ed from Rutgers University. The author of two poetry chapbooks; A Little Piece of Mourning (2014) and A Reminder of Hunger and Wings (2019), and one full length book, This Edge of Rain (2021),Ebihara’s work has also been published in several literary journals and anthologies including Adanna Literary Review, U.S.1 Worksheets, Red River Book of Haibun, Paterson Literary Review and Sonic Boom. She has been a volunteer author for New Jersey Norwescap’s Senior Life Stories Project, has received a Geraldine Dodge Fellowship to the Fine Arts Workshop in Provincetown, MA and has been a Pushcart Prize nominee. She currently holds position of Associate Editor of The Stillwater Review. Jane is available for readings in the New York/New Jersey area where she has been a featured reader in multiple venues.
